Raspberry Blood Orange Vegan Lemonade

A delicious, non glycemic treat using plant based (vegan) sugar.  It tastes just like sugar but without the guilt! Not only is this sugar healthier but it does not contain the calories or count as sugar like regular cane sugar.

Let's Get Into It!!

Watch it here:

Ingredients:

4 Lemons (rinsed then cut in half)

2 large or 3-4 small raspberry blood oranges (rinse then cut in half)

1 Cup of Plant Based Sugar (I have provided the link below to the one I use)

2 1/2 bottles (approximately 40 oz) of cold purified or spring water

Utensils Needed:

A 2 - 2.25 quart drink (pitcher) container with lid

A big metal spoon for stirring

A lemon presser (optional)

************

Pour cold water into pitcher and add the cup of sugar.  Stir until dissolved and no scrapping can be heard.

Cut lemons in half and squeeze lemons into the water one by one.  After each make sure to stir.

Cut blood oranges in half.  Squeeze into water making sure to stir after each.

Drink and enjoy!!

TIPS:

  • After each squeeze press of fruit stir the lemonade.  This helps mix in the flavor properly in addition to making sure all the sugar has been mixed in.  Doing this makes for zero sugar crystalizing sounds.
  • Add slices of blood orange and or lemons to the drink to give  appearance and extra flavor.
